California Casserole

INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup onion
1 lb beef
1 can cream-style corn
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 can tomato soup
chopped olives
1 1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 t. chili powder
1/8 t. dry mustard
1/8 t. pepper
8 oz cooked egg noodles
shredded cheese
DIRECTIONS:
1. Brown the beef with the onion.
2. Mix together the cream-style corn, tomato sauce, tomato soup, and chopped olives in large bowel. Add beef to this.
3. Season the mixture with salt, chili powder, dry mustard, and pepper.
*My mom and I actually double the measurements for the seasonings. We think it brings out the taste better.
4. Layer this mixture with the cooked noodles in an 8x12 pan. (3 layers: soup on bottom, then noodles in the middle, then soup on top.) Sprinkle with cheese.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
BE YE WARNED:
This casserole, while most easy and delicious indeed, will cause some serious gas.
Chili powder + cheese = frivolous uncontrollable farting.
Makes for some great after-dinner entertainment.
